~ Kuch Ankahi Baate ~

Uski koi majboori toh hongi,

Dubti naav ko ek naya rukh de jaata,

Ehsaas usko kho dene ka aaj bhi hai,
Rok na paaya usse, iska dard aaj bhi hai,

Kahi baith ke woh bhi toh roota honga,
Khoo diya jo pyar usko dhundta honga,

Usko kya meri yaad nahi tadpati?
Raato ko befikr neend kaise hai aati?

Mujhse kahi jyada pyar toh usne kiya tha,
Harr pal mere sang woh bhi toh jeeya tha,

Aksaar ye sawal mere dil me aate hai,
Jawab iska naa mai naa woh dhund paate hai,

Koi jhaak ke dekhe toofan hai uth raha beech samandar,
Daba ke baitha hu iss dard ko apne andar,

Bhula deta hu pyar ko zindagi ki bhag daudh me,
Paya na maine kuch iss pyar me,
Sirf zakhm-e-dil reh gaya hai haath me..
